ANOTHER WAY TO CONNECT WITH GEMINEERS
By: Drew Meyers
We have a new way for GEM members to be connected with other members: Boardy, the AI superconnector I previously highlighted. I've since connected with a few additional folks via the service, some of which I expect will end up joining GEM. Boardy now offers communities a way to leverage its matchmaking capabilities to connect members, and they created a GEM community for us.
Here’s how it works:
- Click the WhatsApp link and send Boardy the pre-filled message.
- Have a quick 3-5 min call with Boardy. Once you provide your LinkedIn and email, Boardy will give you a quick call to learn about you, what you’re working on, and who you’d love to meet.
- Get matched. Boardy will suggest relevant members to connect with. If you both say yes, he’ll make a warm intro via email and WhatsApp — and even give you some context to spark the conversation.
While you are of course welcome to use Boardy individually as well, please join GEM Diamond to access the private code to use to connect with proptech execs within GEM.

THE NEXT GREAT CITY IN THE WORKS
By: Drew Meyers
It's not hard to get behind the utopian dream. ❇️I'm on record as saying that❇️, eventually, one of these utopian dreams will become physical reality.
Enter California Forever, which is "building a new city with well-paid jobs in advanced manufacturing and other industries, new walkable neighborhoods, and clean energy in Solano County." Located between San Francisco and Sacramento on what is currently non-prime grazing land and reaching 50,000 residents by 2040, it is projected to generate 16 billion in annual economic activity and 53,000 jobs.

Jan Sramek presented at the All-In Summit:
So, will California Forever be the utopian dream that doesn't get derailed? If so, especially considering its proximity to Silicon Valley, you can bet the technology utilized in homes, buildings, energy, and transit will be off the charts.
