$6.4M FOR A DISCOUNT PLAY

❇️One of the plethora of discount models❇️ to sprout over the last few years, Ridley raised a $6.4 million seed round, led by Fifth Wall with participation from 1984 Ventures, 1Sharpe Ventures, Moxxie Ventures, Aglae Ventures, Park Rangers Capital, according to a press release. The capital will be used to “accelerate [Ridley’s] mission to rebuild the real estate industry around consumers – expanding its proprietary AI capabilities for home sellers and launching a new suite of buyer-focused tools.”
I watched Mike Chamber’s interview with Dan Wenhold at Fifth Wall, and read his interview with Craig Rowe on Inman. There are components of Final Offer, Desk, and Unlisted in Mike’s responses. In fact, you could say…the vision is not that different than ❇️Zillow’s super app strategy❇️.
