WEEKLY RADAR #403: Denver action this week, $16M for AI home design, AvalonBay + Equity Residential, Proptech Index up 1.78% WoW

It'll be a busy week in Denver this week split between GEM events (see below) and 1000watt's Signal conference. One last trip before summer arrives. If you're in the area, reach out.

Can't say I'm looking forward to getting on another place after returning home from a 22 day trip to Spain, Charlotte, Savannah, and Charleston last week. One of the highlights of that trip was lunch in Charleston on Tuesday with Grier Allen, Rivers Pearce, Jeff Corbett, and Tyson Schuetze.

Are you planning to be in DC for the Realtor Legislative Meetings? If so, we'd love to see you at the lunch on 5/15 — Jonathan Lawless from Bilt is hosting. For the New Yorkers, there's an Innovator's Roundtable Dinner on the calendar for 6/23, hosted by Pierre Calzadilla from Upfront.

For those operating on the CRE side, Ben Wright is hosting a virtual First Cut meet and greet on June 23rd.

By: Drew Meyers

Home design startup Drafted, which raised $1.65M less than a year ago, closed on a $16M seed round. The company is founder Nick Donahue's second attempt at the same problem, affordable home design, after previously running Atmos.
